While browsing the GAP store oggling their new Threadless onesies I happened upon the baby girl’s summer line and found these pieces. LOVE! GAP has in the past had a freaky sense for adorable lightweight summer girls’ dresses, and this combination has made me fall in love all over again!

Remember the cute mod floral hair clips we posted about in June?
We liked them so much that Sweet Harper was kind enough to send us a pair to review! Looking at the hair clips in person, we were impressed by how much style they packed into such a small size.
Our beautiful model has very thick hair, so her mom hoped that the mod pair would be able to stay in place. They did! Sometimes it can be tricky to squeeze thick hair into smaller accessories, but the Sweet Harper clips stayed in place, added a cute accent to her outfit, and were easy for her to use. She was even able to put the clips in all by herself! We poked and prodded at them in our tests and found them to be not only adorable, but well constructed as well. It would take quite a bit of roughhousing to do these in!
At only $7 a pair these are a steal, perfect for thick or very fine hair that otherwise has a hard time keeping clips in place.
Visit the Sweet Harper Etsy Shop to check out the rest of her selection of adorable hair clips!

This sweet summer set by Ella Moss features a tank-style, empire waist, flowing tunic in floral eyelet with side pockets and is perfectly paired it’s solid coloured leggings. We could totally see this looking absolutely ‘aww’ worthy paired with a big floppy sun hat :) A great choice for dress or play!
One of the best summer dresses we’ve seen this season! Light weight and full of timeless summer style, we’re loving the intricate Asian inspired print on light fluttery cotton. The perfect choice for any occasion, casual or formal.

This week, continuing the celebration of the alpha launch of the petit vogue childrens fashion community, we’re giving away this adorable long sleeve tee by Puella Petit! It’s made of super soft 100% cotton, with a slightly wider neck and contrast edging on the neck, cuffs, and hem. A bright, almost Japanese-like floral motif is printed on the light-weight ivory fabric. Would look adorable with a pair of jeans, khaki’s, or a light fluttery skirt!

The small details sprinkled throughout this dress make what would otherwise be a typical floral print more playful. The voile underskirt adds a little princess-like flounce, while the ruffled straps suggest a bit of elegance. The dress comes in three different fun colors, and each one includes the matching panty cover for her little bum.

Welcome spring with this elegant little cardigan from Janie and Jack! The classic white cardigan is a staple of any little girl’s Easter ensemble, with lovely crocheted floral details on the front, and delicate ruffles on the collar and cuffs.

Continuing our quest to find gifts for my new niece, we have this precious wrap jacket by Tea Collection. Sure, the pink flowery look is a little cliche, but with the Japanese influence present in the double-wrap kimono styling and tie closure, we’re willing to forgive that and embrace it as a wardrobe staple.

Named for the maidens who worship at Shinto shrines, like so many things we’ve seen from Tea Collection, the Miko Dress was yet another case of love at first sight. Following their world fashion ethos, this piece is inspired by Japan. Apart from being very much into Japanese style and culture on the whole here at Petit Vogue, how could we not love the wrapping layers and simple elegance of this dress? The milky white pleats cut with splashes of deep red give it just the right amount of dramatic flair, definitely a great holiday (or any time of year) dress for those of you who dwell in warmer, more forgiving climates.
